Graveside services for Frankie Ewell Roberts, 68, of Sanger, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating.
Mr. Roberts passed away March 10, 2016 in Denton.
Frankie was born April 29, 1947 in Lockney to Elmer Ewell and Betty (Messimer) Roberts. His family moved to the Gainesville area in 1987. Frankie married Terri Neu in Tulia on May 24, 2003. He worked at Peterbilt for 25 years. Mr. Roberts enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include: wife Terri Roberts of Sanger; daughter Amber Whittington of Gainesville; daughter Mickey Giles and husband Jimmy of Gainesville; daughter Amanda Roberts of Sanger; stepson Colby Calhoun and wife Nicole of Gainesville; grandchildren: Savannah, Jennifer, Mark, James, and Kenzie; step-grandchildren: Colton and Candice; great-granddaughter Emma Dawn; mother-in-law Kay Neu; sister Cleta Tyree and husband Johnny of Wheeler; sister Barbara Fowler and husband Thomas of Levelland; sister Kathy Nelson of Tulia; seven brothers- and sisters-in-law; his beloved Peanut; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Serving as pallbearers are: Tommy Hutson, Tommy Meyer, Jimmy Giles, James Giles, Jr., Mark Whittington, and Ryan Bennett.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.
