Thresa Jane Morton, 62, of Gainesville, affectionately known as “Mama T”, passed away March 8, 2016 in Gainesville.

Thresa was born June 3, 1953 in Gainesville to George and Edna (Fink) Brown. She was a dedicated mother to her friends and family and will be missed.

Thresa loved her children deeply; they include: daughter Maria Burks; son Timothy Manuel; daughter Amber Johnson; son Michael Johnson, Jr., eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
