James Lars Bevan

A memorial service for James Lars Bevan, 41, of Gainesville, is set for 5:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Duke Dowling officiating.

James was born on September 22, 1974 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Herschel Don and Jeanie Mae (Matthews) Bevan. He passed away on March 9, 2016 in Gainesville.

He is survived by wife Gladys "Sissy" Bevan of Midland; daughter Shyann Bevan; daughter Samantha Bevan; mother Jeanie Matthews; sister Sandy Montgomery and her husband Len; brother Cody Hale; step-brother John Bevan; step-sister Sharon Santos; mother-in-law Cathy Link; step-mother Cyndi Bevan; aunt and uncle Marylyn and Duke Dowling; friend Stacy Winters; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
