Funeral services for Frankie Marie Rolston, 64, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 AM Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thurday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Ms. Rolston passed away April 16, 2016 in Dallas. She was born August 28, 1951 in Gainesville to Frank and Vera Marie Blackerby Rolston.

On February 29, 1961, Frankie accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and was baptized at Central Baptist Church in Gainesville. After graduating from Gainesville High School in 1969, Frankie attended business school in Dallas. She began her secretarial career at Blue-Cross/ Blue Shield Insurance. She went on to work at Lone Star Gas Company for 14 years, and then moved to Denton where she was employed with TX MHMR Denton State School for 8 years. Starting in 2001, Frankie served 4 years as assistant deputy registrar and voter registration clerk at the Collin County Elections in McKinney. In September 2014 she retired as deputy county clerk at the courthouse in Palestine in Anderson County after serving 7 years. Frankie enjoyed crocheting, reading mystery books, visiting the local library, travel and studying her bible.

Survivors include her precious daughter Rebecca Marie Griffith; one brother Perry Rolston; one sister Bobbie Jean Rolston; her childhood friend of 40 plus years Sandra Griffith Carrigan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Thomas Rolston; her sister Vera Farley.
