Randall Lee Estes

Randall Lee Estes, of Valley View, Texas, passed away April 25, 2016 in Denton, Texas. He was born November 6, 1962 to Laverna Liedtke and Ray Guy Estes, both of Gainesville, Texas.

He grew up in Gainesville with his three brothers and it was there that he married his soulmate and the love of his life, Kathy Frederich Estes on November 26, 1988. Randall and Kathy were married for 27 years and had three beautiful children; Ryland, Krystal, and Kaytland.

Randall had the ability to light up a room with his infectious smile and personality and a laugh that could brighten any person’s mood. He loved and cherished Kathy and his children more than life itself and was a wonderful husband and father. His passion for helping others and making a difference in his community will forever be remembered and revered. He was President of the Gainesville Kiwanis Club and a member of Friendship Church in Saint Jo, Texas.

Randall was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Vernon Frederich, and his aunt, Norma Jane Estes.

Randall is survived by: wife, Kathy; children, Ryland, Krystal, and Kaytland; mother, Laverna, and her husband, Frank; father, Ray Guy; mother-in-law, Bonnie; brothers, Steve and his wife, Rene, Kyle and his wife, Debbie, Glenn Ray and his wife Tawni; sisters-in-law, Tina and her husband, Danny, Brenda and her husband, Mike; brother-in-law, Parker and his wife, Cindy; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He will also be remembered by his life-long friend and “brother”, Andy Crow, and his wife Kelly, and their children, Jordan and Andrew.
Family will receive visitors on Thurday, April 28, 2016, at 6:00 pm at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, April 29 at1:00 pm at Geo. J. Carroll& Son Funeral Home. Graveside Service and burial will immediately follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Curt Simmons.

Donations in his memory and his life long support of the children in our local communities can be made to Gainesville Kiwanis Club PO Box 335 Gainesville, Texas and Valley View Friends PO Box 38 Gainesville, Texas.

Pallbearers are Darren Hutcherson, David Jones, Patrick McCage, Bret Mitchell, Michael Murphy, and Brad Stewart.
