Don retired from Raytheon, but he worked all his life in many different jobs. His employment with the City of Denton created many lasting friendships. Don had such a strong work ethic that he worked many different jobs in over sixty years. He personally drove into nearly every state in the union. He said often he did not need sons, with three beautiful girls he called Ace, Deuce, and Trace, he had boys around all the time. Don loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he shared that testimony with pride taking that first step toward salvation when his left foot moved out. He loved his church Vilott Baptist in Callisburg . He had been a foster father to twenty three children from all walks of life. His love of animals was shown by his horses, cattle, and dogs. His favorite house dog Quigly was at his side constantly. Many will recall being entertained by his Donald Duck impressions that he did quiet well.
