Lillie M. Swindle

Funeral service for Lillie M. "Nubbin" Swindle, 95, formerly of Gainesville, is set for 2:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Lillie was born on January 14, 1921 in Gainesville to William Oscar and Eva Mae (Teague) Trimble. She passed away on October 6, 2016 in Arlington.

She is survived by her daughter Tamela Betche of Newport News, VA; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-granchildren; sister Beetie Ellis of Dallas; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
