Carl Hunter Enderby

Funeral services for Carl Hunter Enderby, 67, of Era, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Black officiating. Interment will follow at Era Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24 at the funeral home.

Mr. Enderby passed away October 21, 2016 in Dallas.

Carl was born April 7, 1949 in Gainesville to Andrew Thayer and Irma Ruth (Hunter) Enderby. He was raised on the very farm that he worked ardently with his own hands until his final days. Mr. Enderby married Donna Ansley on June 26, 1981 in Gainesville.

Survivors include: beloved wife of 35 years, Donna (Ansley) Enderby of Era; children: Jennifer Moore of Dallas, Randy Moore, and Melissa Burgess and husband Marty of Era; grandchildren: Andrew Dickerson, Matthew Burgess, and Madalee Burgess; brother Carroll Enderby and wife Becky of Collinsville; brother-in-law Reynie Ansley and wife Lydia of Gainesville; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Enderby was preceded in death by his parents.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are: David Cox, Mike Graves, Butch Eldridge, Jerry Lewis, Lanny Lewter, and John Smith.
