Nate Owens

Graveside services for Natan Corona Owens, 17, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at New Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Owens passed away November 27, 2016 in Fort Worth.

Nate was born December 18, 1998 in Gainesville. He loved working on trucks and stereo systems and was an avid fan of the Gas Monkey television show.

Survivors include: grandmother Ruth Jones of Gainesville; sister Amber Owens of Gainesville; sister Savanah Owens of Denton; brother Justin Owens of Gainesville; niece Kaylee; nephews: Cameron, Marcus, Jayce, and Noah; and mother Tracy Owens of Denton.

Serving as pallbearers are: Victor Calleros Munoz, Johnathan Calleros, Justin Owens, Josue Calleros, Christian Calleros, and Fredrick Castillo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
