Bennie Dewayne Denham

Graveside services for Bennie Dewayne Denham, 66, of Spring Branch, is set for 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the New Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, December 26, 2016.

Bennie was born on September 3, 1950 in Mounds, Oklahoma to Bennie and Erma Nadine (Grimes) Denham. He passed away on December 21, 2016 in Spring Branch.

Bennie was a proud U.S. Army veteran, a licensed Texas peace officer, and a member of the I.B.E.W Local 60. He loved improving his home and lawn, but his greatest passion was spending time with his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie Morris Denham; son John Vaughn and his wife Karen; daughter Lisa Shields and her husband Terry; grandson Joshua Vaughn; granddaughters Kimberly Vaughn VeVries and her husband Jerred, Megan Bindseil, and Camberleigh Waters. He is also survived by sister Dorothy Neville and her husband Mike; sister Betty Hempkins; sister Teresa Diaz and her husband Carlos; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Jim Denham.

Pallbearers will be Brian Greer, Jody Henry, Tanner Henry, Jeff Hammons, Reese Hammons, and Roy King.
