Graveside services for Albert Edward Freire, 85, of Woodbine, are set for 2:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2016 at the Nelson Grove Cemetery in Woodbine, under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. No visitation is planned.

Albert was born on June 23, 1931 in Rockchester, NY to Frank and Helen C. (Sheffield) Freire. He passed away at his residence on January 2, 2017

He is survived by his wife Elsie Freire of Woodbine; daughter Susan Freire of Woodbine; daughter Kathy Luttschwager and her husband Mark of Belleville, IL; son Robert Freire and his wife Janet of Pilot Point; daughter-in-law Kim Freire of El Centro, CA; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-granchildren. He is also survived by brother Frank Freire of Navarro, FL; sister Frances Thomas of El Centro, CA; sister Mary Johnson of El Centro, CA; brother Glenn Freire and his wife Barbara of Imperial, CA; sister Betty Gardner of Wichita, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents; son Frank Freire; brother Edward Freire; and sister Marie Ray.
