Memorial services for Mrs. Norma Lee Gray, Resident of Walnut Bend, Age 84, will be held at The Kingdom Of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday February 4th at 2:00 pm with Mark Wagner officiating.
Mrs. Gray passed away Thursday, January 26th at NTMC surrounded by family. Mrs. Gray was born to Ollie Mae and Will Francis Allen in House, New Mexico on September 30th 1932. She was the eldest of 12 children. She graduated from House High School in May of 1951. She married Mr. Marvin E. Gray immediately out of high school at the age of 18 and lived in Portales, New Mexico for a short time. They also lived in Oklahoma, and they now currently reside in Texas.
Mrs. Gray enjoyed gardening, cooking, tending to her flowers, canning fruits and vegetables, and caring for their 6 children. She was known as a kind, loving mother and grandmother, who had a beautiful smile for most everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband Marvin E. Gray of Walnut Bend, daughter Betty Gray of Edmond
Oklahoma, daughter Catherine Godbee and husband Phillip of Falkville, Alabama, Son Robert Gray of Callisburg, Texas. And several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gray was proceeded in death by her 3 children, Julia Brown, Ollie Hollaway, and John Gray. Also, her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Flowers may be sent to the Geo J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home or donate to Heart to Heart Hospice.
