Allen Brumlow

Funeral services for Allen Wayne Brumlow, 74, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Tim Stobaugh officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Brumlow passed away February 13, 2017 in Gainesville.

Allen was born May 21, 1942 in Houston to Alva Lee and Kathryn Caroline (Gallagher) Brumlow. He married Linda Watson on July 2, 1962 in Houston. Mr. Brumlow was well known in the Houston area for his skills in auto-body repair, specializing in Corvettes. He began ranching upon his move to Gainesville in 1993. Mr. Brumlow enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing and caring for his dogs and cattle. He cherished, above all, moments with family, always looking for an opportunity to spend time with those he loved.

Survivors include: wife Linda Brumlow of Gainesville; daughter Delena Brumlow of Gainesville; son Wayne Brumlow and wife Miroslava of Houston; grandchildren: Tristan Brumlow, Brittany Copeland (Chase), Brandy Brumlow, and Allen Brumlow III; and mother Kathryn Brumlow of Houston.

Mr. Brumlow was preceded in death by: father Lee Brumlow and brother Lee Brumlow Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
