Funeral services for David Brandon Hicks Smith, 31, of Gainesville, is set for 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

David was born on June 1, 1985 in Gainesville to Paul Ray and Elizabeth Ann (Childress) Smith. He passed away on March 2, 2017 in Gainesville.

He is survived by his wife Christie of Gainesville; son Riggen Condra of Lone Grove, OK; son Caden Smith of Gainesville; son Carson Smith of Gainesville; son Keaton Smith of Gainesville; son Kody Smith of Gainesville; mother Elizabeth Phillips and her husband Kevin of Gainesville; father Paul Smith and his wife Angela of Woodbine; brother John Paul Smith of Colorado Springs, CO; brother Joshua Smith of Coppell; brother Ethan Smith and his wife Jamie of Temple; sister Jennifer Shindler of Whitesboro; Michaela Phillips of Flower Mound; brother Matthew Smith of Woodbine; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
