Nettie was a member of Towne North Baptist Church and considered them her family. She spent her career as a teacher, both officially for the school district, but also unofficially for any child that needed help in learning. Nettie had many hobbies and passions such as Red Hats, sewing, collecting and traveling. She loved Dove candy, lime diet coke, and card games. She gave her time and was adored by many - the most selfless person ever known to her family and friends. Nettie was able to spend her time after retirement with her daughters and grandchildren for which she taught so much and most of all she taught of her love of Christ.
Serving as pallbearers are her nephews: Shelby Rains, Bradley Rains, Kelly Beeler, Jason Alexander, Ethan Rains and Colton Beeler.
