Rose Marie Morris

Funeral services for Rose Marie Morris, 87, of Denton, are set for 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Callisburg Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 23, 3017 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Rose was born on December 26, 1929 in Gainesville to Michael Oden Wilson Sr. and Mildred Rose (Henry) Wilson. She passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Corinth.
Rose Marie was a member of the First Christian Church in Gainesville, Denton Rebekah Lodge #18, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Denton Lodge #82, Belle Moon #90 OES in Gainesville, Denton LEA #123, Denton LAPM #41, and lifetime member of the Gainesville VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived daughter Connie Peyrot of Denton; daughter Jocelyn Frost of Denton; sister Linda Hackler of Denton; sister-in-law Helen Wilson of Pampa; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-granchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death her parents; husband John William Morris in 2003; sister Catherine Montgomery; and brother Michael Oden Wilson Jr.
