Katherine Annette Parsons

Funeral services for Katherine Annette Parsons, 54, of Gainesville, are set for 3:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2017 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. Burial will follow in Hibbit Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral.

Kathy passed away May 4, 2017 in Denison. She was born June 12, 1962 in New Orleans, LA to Melvin Wesley and Sherry Ann Kincy Harrison.

Kathy worked at Winstar Casino for many years.

Mrs. Parsons is survived by her husband Gilbert Parsons of Gainesville; daughter Katie Wilhoit of Gainesville; daughter Dahnae Parsons of Gainesville; step-daughter Melissa Brownlee and her husband Bill of Mountain Springs; brother Ricky Harrison and his wife Pam of Callisburg; sister Cindy Williams and her husband Keith of Callisburg; nieces Ashley Williams and Kelsey Williams of Callisburg.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father Melvin Wesley Harrison and her grandparents Gale and Annie Lois Kincy and Arba and Helen Harrison.
