Mildred Joan Swaim

Funeral services for Mildred Joan Swaim, 82, of Denton, are set for 1:00 PM Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Kremling Officiating. Burial will follow in the Collinsville Cemetery. No visitation is planned.

Joan was born on December 23, 1934 in Cedar Hill, Texas to Robert E. Davis and Margaret Ola (Williams) Davis. She passed away on July 3, 2017 in Denton.

She is survived by her son Robert Swaim Jr. and his wife Kim of Denton; daughter Beverly Swaim of Decatur; six granchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother Robert Davis and his wife Rita of Red Oak; brother Phillip Davis of Midlothian; sister Elaine Elliott and her husband Robert of Midlothian; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Robert Swaim Sr.

Pallbearers will be Justin Swaim, Vic Swaim, Jake Swaim, Roland Escobedo, David Hunter, and Michael Hunter
