Bonnie Ruth Harper

Funeral services for Bonnie Ruth Harper, 77, of Thackerville, OK, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 31, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Thackerville with Rev. Bobby Nelms officiating. Burial will follow in the New Resthaven Cemetery in Gainesville, TX. A visitation is set for Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harper passed away July 25, 2017 in Ardmore, OK. She was born November 26, 1939 in Gainesville, to Barney McCoy and Juanita (Culp) Gilbreath.

Bonnie was a daycare provider for many years. She enjoyed embroidering and loved gardening. She was completely devoted to taking care of her husband, Alfred Glendon Harper. Alfred loves her a lot and says she was a very good woman. They were married for 57 years.

Mrs. Harper is survived her husband Alfred Glendon Harper of Thackerville; son and daughter-in-law David and Ok Harper of South Korea; son and daughter-in-law Lance and Alison Harper of Pasadena, CA; grandchildren Megan Harper and Evan Harper. She is also survived by her brothers Barney Gilbreath, George Gilbreath, and Clovis Gilbreath both of Gainesville.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers.
