DONALD R. VAUGHN

Donald R. Vaughn, 70, of Gainesville, passed away July 29, 2017 in Gainesville.

Donald was born May 11, 1947 in Casa Grande, AZ to Clarence and Pauline (Fish) Vaughn. He was raised and graduated high school in Thackerville, OK. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Vaughn served honorably in Vietnam. He enjoyed carpentry, fishing, and mechanic work. Beloved by those that knew him, Donald may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Survivors include: mother Ruth Vaughn of Big Sandy; sister Barbara Sewell and husband Bob of Gainesville; brother Chester Vaughn of Oklahoma; brother Richard Vaughn and wife Cheryl of Big Sandy; sister Arlene Dickinson and husband Jon of San Leon; brother Charles Vaughn of San Leon; brother Clint Vaughn of Reno, NV; nieces and nephews: Wesley McCage, Daniel McCage, Taylor McCage, Cody McCage, and Eternity Allcock; and numerous other beloved aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by: father Clarence Vaughn; wife Judy Vaughn; and daughter Donna Vaughn.

Services will be scheduled for a date in the near future.
