Frances Lee Hogan

A memorial service for Frances Lee (Meyer) Hogan, 73, of Valley View, is set for 2:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Huffman officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hogan died Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home in Valley View.

Frances was born on February 28, 1944 in Emory to William Leo Meyer and Eshter Lene (Kerr) Meyer. On August 10, 1962, she married Raymond Hogan in Valley View. Frances was a Star Route contract mail carrier for Valley View, Era, and Rosston for over 20 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son William Hugh Hogan of Valley View; daughter Shaune Bridges and her husband Michael of Valley View; daughter Robin Dahl and her husband Randal of Marble Falls; Cindy Hogan of Valley View; grandchildren Kyle Bridges, Joshua Bridges, Grace Dahl, Isabel Dahl, Nicholas Dahl, Allie Foreman, and Luke Foreman; great-grandchildren Cheyann Bridges, Raymond Bridges, and Emma Bridges. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Hunter; sister-in-law Janice Meyer; sister-in-law Ada Meyer; and sister-in-law Pearl Meyer.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers George Meyers, Gene Meyers, Wayne Meyers, and Billy Meyers; sister Isla Mae Hobbs; and sister-in-law Judy Meyer.
