Pat’s life will be celebrated during a service held at 10:00AM Monday, September 4 at the First United Methodist Church in Gainesville, TX officiated by John Fleming and Ellen True (niece).
Pat was born in Miami, FL on September 14, 1937 and was raised in Coral Gables. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Mundy I Peale, Jr. whom she married on December 23, 1957.
Pat graduated from Coral Gables High School and started college at the University of Miami where she was a cheerleader and a member of Tri Delta Sorority.
She finished her degree in Dietetics from Simmons College and worked as Head Dietician at Harvard Business School and a nearby hospital. Pat & Mundy moved extensively including Michigan, Brazil, Iowa and finally settling in Texas while raising three absolutely amazing kids.
Pat had a love for travel, especially her around the world trips. Patricia’s accomplishments and awards were many. While governor, George Bush appointed her to the TX State Banking Board and the Red River Boundary Commission. Pat Peale’s love for politics will live on forever.
Pat was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother known affectionately to her family as Tricia, Princess Pat and Gammy. Her zeal for life and love of family combined with her patriotic spirit made her an unforgettable soul inspiring people to take an active part in our country.
