A memorial service for William "Bill" Roy Leonard, 64, of Gainesville, is set for 1:00 PM Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Taylor officiating.
Bill was born on February 18, 1953 in Olney, Illinois to Earl Donald Leonard and Ruth Ann (Struble) Leonard. He passed away on October 9, 2017 in Gainesville.
Bill graduated from Gainesville High School in 1972. He married Cathy Ann Tamplin on July 29, 1972 in Gainesville.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cathy Leonard of Gainesville; son Jeremy Leonard of Gainesville; brother David Davis and his wife Melanie of Gainesville; sister Debra Phelps and her husband Shawn of Gainesville; and brother Dale Leonard of Sioux City, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
