Joann Lohbauer

Graveside services for JoAnn Lohbauer, 75, of Pilot Point, are set for 10:00 AM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery pavilion in Gainesville with Pastor John Theisen officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

JoAnn was born on September 13, 1942 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Virgie Mae Martin. She passed away peacefully on October 29, 2017 in Denton.

She is survived by her son Jerry Lohbauer and his wife Cheryl of Pilot Point; daughter Debora Longabaugh and her husband Keith of Pilot Point; grandchildren Rachel Longabaugh, Erik Longabaugh and his wife Kim, Matthew Longabaugh, Shelbi Lohbauer and her fiancée Austin Foughty, Zachary Lohbauer, Joshua Massingill, and Jasmine Massingill; great-grandchildren Thomas Keith Longabaugh, and Jackson Longabaugh. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Faye Buckner of Ceres, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Albert W. Lohbauer; mother Virgie Buckner; brother Dallas Buckner; sister Oletta Buckner; sister Mary Harvey and her husband Melvin; sister Betty Craig and her husband Walter; and brother Robert Buckner.
