Zeddie Jo Shuppert

Funeral services for Zeddie Jo Shuppert, 79, of Gainesville is set for 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Grand Ave. Baptist Church with the Rev. Benny Strong officiating. Burial will follow in the New Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will take place at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 6:00-7:00 PM.

Zeddie was born on February 13, 1938 in Callisburg to Zeddie W. Kitchens and Edna Pearl (Fox) Kitchens. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 10, 2017 in Gainesville.

She is survived by her daughter Liz Gregory and her husband Scott of Gainesville; daughter Michelle Thorp of Austin; son Will Shuppert and his wife Janet of Sadler; daughter Paula Mitchell and her husband Corey of Gainesville; daughter Cindy Gray and her husband Rick of Aubrey; daughter Samantha Johnson and her husband David of Valley View; 24 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ginger Latham of Lewisville; and sister Audra Harmon of Callisburg.

Zeddie was preceded in death by her husband Harold "Bud" Shuppert; her parents; sister Arlie Flusche; sister Norma Price; and sister Norene Blakley.

Pallbearers will be Josh Shuppert, Jeremy Derheim, Taylor Ward, J.D. Johnson, Preston Derheim, and Jeremy Purdy. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Ward, and Colton Simpson.
