Flora Mae Wilson

Funeral services for Flora Mae Wilson, 79, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Wiley Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flora was born on November 23, 1938 in Elmer, Oklahoma to John Wesley Huddleston and Edith Florence (Richardson) Huddleston. She passed away on November 25, 2017 in Gainesville.

Flora enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, riding horses, being outdoors, and listening to gospel music. She was a member of the Woodbine Baptist Church, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband John M. Wilson; son Ronnie Wilson and wife Linda of Gainesville; daughter Sherry Glenn of Gainesville; daughter Joyce Wilson of Gainesville; son Carl Wilson of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Charles Huddleston; brother Donald Huddleston and his wife Linda; and sister Ruth Moore all of Altus, OK.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents; brother Bobby Huddleston; daughter Connie Timms; and grandson Jody Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Casey Glenn, Cordy Glenn, Jake Wilson, Chris Glenn, Lee Pankratz, Charlie Pankratz, Bryan Wilson, and Jeremy Proffer.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Ronnie Sue Pankratz and Sheila Morrell for their care of Flora during her illness.
