Al Hunt

Alfred Lincoln Hunt Jr., 63, of Gainesville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 17, 2017 in Gainesville.

Al was born March 22, 1954 in Lansing, MI to Alfred Lincoln and Hattie Faith (Kirkwood) Hunt Sr. He was a long-time resident of Holland, MI, and has spent the last decade in Gainesville. Mr. Hunt spent his career in construction, where he applied his skills as a carpenter, and enjoyed reading. He was loved by those that knew him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include: daughter Kimberly Sue Hunt Dekker of South Carolina; two granddaughters; sister Linda Badgley of Lansing, MI; sister Karen Bonnici and husband Sam of Valley View; sister Twila Groves and husband Randy of Denton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his parents.
