Jamie Whitefield Ravert

The memorial service for Jamie Whitefield Ravert, 45, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Ravert passed away January 25, 2018 in Gainesville.

Jamie was born March 10, 1972 in Allentown, PA to Richard and Judy (Johnston) Ravert. He married Teria Markezinis in Gainesville on September 12, 2015. Mr. Ravert spent the last seven years employed with Gainesville ISD as a bus driver and in the maintenance department. Known as a man that could build or fix anything, he was always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile on his face and no questions asked. He treasured the time spent with his family, children, and most recently, his grandchildren.

Survivors include: wife Teria Ravert of Gainesville; daughter Joy Morris and husband Billy of Clyde; daughter Kaylie Gage and husband Josh of Gainesville; son Joseph Ravert of Gainesville; daughter Mahalia Markezinis of Gainesville; son Jameson Markezinis of Denton; son Conner Markezinis of Denton; seven grandchildren; brother Rick Ravert; sister Crystal Crist; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Ravert was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Johnston.
