V. Doris Fomby

Services for Doris Fomby will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with the Revs. Gary Wade and Lewis Acrey officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery. Family visitation is to be held on Sunday evening from 6 - 8 P.M.

She died on November 24th at her residence. She was born on July 19, 1931 in Greenville Oklahoma to Virgil and Willie Marie Lewis Sharp. She married Kenneth Fomby on September 23,1949 at the Turner Hotel in Gainesville.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth of Gainesville, daughter Gail Brandt, daughter and son-in-law Beth and Charley Kuykendall, son and daughter-in-law Russell and Teresa Fomby all of Gainesville, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, sisters Myrtle Marie Kays of Hobbs New Mexico, Velma Hunter of Ardmore Okla., brother and sister-in-law Deward and Mary Jo Sharp of Plano.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jan Reiter, sons-in-law Bill Reiter & Tommy Brandt and brother Floyd Sharp.
