Raymond Zimmerer

Services for Raymond Zimmerer, age 93, will be held Friday June 8 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 PM at the Geo. J. Carroll Chapel. He died June 5, 2007.

He was born July 8, 1913 in Lindsay to John and Katie Kempf Zimmerer, the fifth of 8 children. He grew up in Lindsay where he attened school. He married Magdalene Flushe in Sacred Heart Church in Muenster on May 9, 1958.

He is survived by his wife Magdalene, four children and their spouses, Ray and Ida Zimmerer of Gainesville, Richard and Delores Zimmerer of Grapevine, Cliff and Charmaine Zimmerer of Tampa, Florida, Pat Zimmerer of Denton, 8 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

He is precede in death by his parents, two daughters, Linda Kathleen Leijonflycht and Mary Jane Zimmerer.
