Sarah Saucedo

Services for Sarah Marie Saucedo, 12, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Miss Saucedo died April 5, 2008, in Gainesville.

She was born Dec. 23, 1995, in Gainesville to Josephine Saucedo. She was a fifth grade student at Walnut Bend School.

Survivors include her mother, Josephine Saucedo; brothers, Paulo A. Saucedo, Alberto G. Saucedo, and Alejandro M. Saucedo; sister, Karina T. Saucedo; grandparents, Alejandro Gonzales of Gainesville and Teresa L. Saucedo of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; 53 cousins; two nieces; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Herminia Gonzales; an aunt; and great-grandfather, Diego Mendez.

Pallbearers are Paulo and Alberto Saucedo, and Joe, Alex, John and Jesse Gonzales.

Honorary pallbearers are Chris Hermes, Adam Gonzales, Jorge Rocha, Frank Colmenero, and Rodolfo Martinez.

Visitation will be at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
