Funeral mass for Lawrence Zimmerer, 99, of Gainesville are set for 2 P.M. Saturday September 19, 2009 at St Peters Catholic Church in Lindsay. Mr. Zimmerer passed away September 17, 2009 at his residence. Burial will be in St Peter's Cemetery under the direction of Geo J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Zimmerer was born July 5, 1910 in Lindsay to Francis and Catherine Zimmerer. Mr. Zimmerer is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marie Zimmerer; Nephews: Albert and his wife Imogene Zimmerer and Donald Ray Zimmerer; Nieces: Cecilia and her husband Frank Novack, Beatrice and her husband Earnest Wolf, Dorthy and her husband Robert Billner, Peggy Battles, Elaine Jenks, and Virginia Zimmerer. Numerous Nephews and nieces.

Mr. Zimmerer was preceded in death by his parents: Francis Xavier and Catherine Zimmerer; and his brothers: Johhny Zimmerer and Leo Zimmerer.

Pallbearers will be: Albert Zimmerer Jr., Gary Zimmerer, Kent Wolf, Dale Wolf, Gary Fetsch, Dennis Lutkenhaus, Leon Flusche, and Ray Zimmerer.

Rosary will be recited Friday September 18, 2009 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
