Daniel Crocket

Memorial service for Daniel Reece Crockett, 65, of Gainesville is set for 6:30 p.m. today at Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Eddie Chennault officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mr. Crockett died Feb. 28, 2008, at Pecan Tree Manor.

He was born Aug. 30, 1942, in Whitesboro to Ed and Claudell Tolleson Crockett. He attended Gainesville High School and was employed as a machinist at Weber Aircraft for 29 years.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Neil and Mary Crockett of Valley View and Tracy Lyn and Jenna Crockett of Gainesville; four grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Merle and Ross Tamplin of Gainesville; sister, Sandra Rizzo of Greenville; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, E.C. Crockett.
