GENE WILLIS TRAMMELL

Memorial service for Gene Willis Trammell, 43, of Gainesville are set for 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel of Gainesville with Rev. Hubert Wright and Rev. Scott Trammell officiating.

Mr. Trammell died June 23, 2008, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.

He was born Nov. 1, 1964, in Gainesville to Jim “Buck” W. and Lanette Bayer Trammell. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1984 and also attended North Central Texas College. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Gainesville Black Bass Association.

Survivors include his mother, Lanette Trammell; several aunts and uncles; and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father on May 14, 1996, and by his grandparents, Al and Marie Loerwald Bayer and Dowd and Bell Bryant Trammell.
