DOROTHY DEE BREWTON

LAKE KIOWA — At the age of 86, surrounded by her family in a Gainesville, Texas, home, Dee went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. A resident of Lake Kiowa, Texas, Dee was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jack Brewton, and by a daughter, Jana Bentley. She is survived by her son, Bob Brewton and his wife, Karen, and their children, David Brewton and Kelly Brewton; by her daughter, Lyn McKinney and her husband, Keith McKinney; and her son-in-law, Mike Bentley and his daughter, Amy Bentley.

Funeral service willl be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Hare and Eric Shick.

Dee was born July 26, 1921, in Stephenville, Texas, daughter of Ceaborn Harvey and Mollie Warren Goodwin. She was married to Robert Jackson Brewton in 1942 in Stephenville.
