Elizabeth Cook

Graveside service for Elizabeth Cook, 88, of Gainesville is set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Ms. Cook died March 12, 2008, at Renaissance Care Center.

She was born Nov. 22, 1919, to Eulyss Roy and Mary Massey Lankford. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a bookkeeper in the banking business. She enjoyed watching television.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Hal and Shirley Cheaney of Taylor, Ark., and Terry and Carla Cook of Dallas; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Nell Fettinger of Alamogordo, N.M.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Harvey.

Visitation will be at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday.
