Services for Lillie Mae Williams, 99, of Gainesville, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with David Gray, minister of the Hillcrest Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Lillie Mae Williams died Aug. 31, 2008 at Pecan Tree Manor.

She was born Dec. 13, 1908 in Ardmore, Okla., to Robert John and Mattie Avans Whitney.

She was a homemaker and a charter member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. She enjoyed handwork, crocheting and quilting. She was an avid gardener and took pride in her flowers. She was a pianist and played for the Rebekah Lodge meetings.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, John and Barbara Jane Williams of Gainesville and Tommy and Jan Williams of Plano; daughters and sons-in-law Martha and Bill Perryman of Gainesville, Barbara and Mack Barnhart of Gainesville, Linda and Scotty Weathersby of Sherman; 7 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Williams and her sister Johnnie Canan.

Pallbearers are Phil Prine, Jakob and Jared Perryman, Scotty McLean, John David Williams, and Arthur Green.

Honarary pallbearers are Walter Canan and Dale Swan.

Visitation is at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Monday.
