Gregory Holt

DALLAS — Services for Gregory W. Holt, 41, of Dallas are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Whaley United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Jim Goodwin. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Holt died Aug. 31, 2008 in Dallas.

He was born July 3, 1967 in Denton to Jackie D. and Peggy Wilson Holt.

He was a 1985 graduate of Gainesville High School and earned a BBA degree in 1989 from Oklahoma University. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at the university. He was employed in medical sales and was a member of Whaley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Jackie and Peggy Holt of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Tami Holt and their children, Katharine, Emily and Austin, all of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Russel and Maureen Holt and their children, Tyler and Ashley Holt, all of Houston; uncle and aunt, Darwin and Saundra Holt of Birmingham, Ala., five cousins, three nieces and two nephews.

Visitation is planned for 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at 2304 Mesquite Circle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Whaley United Methodist Church building fund.
