MARTIN FRANK HACKER
VALLEY VIEW — Services for Martin Frank Hacker, 86, of Valley View are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville with Rev. Don Brennan, O.S.A., officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mr. Hacker died June 15, 2008, at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.
He was born Nov. 2, 1921, in Muenster to Frank and Theresia Statler Hacker. He was a dairy farmer.
Survivors include his sons, Leonard Hacker and Wallace Hacker, both of Gainesville; and daughter, Sharon Sandmann of Whitesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Glenn Hacker on Dec. 24, 1971; and by a grandson.
Pallbearers are Earl Anderson, Dennis Browne, Leonard and Wallace Hacker, and Rick and Lance Sandmann.
Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Hall and Colton McFarland.
The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, followed by a visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
