Beulah Smith Brinlee

Services for Beulah Smith Brinlee, 87, of Whitesboro are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs Smith died Sept. 2, 2008 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.

She was born June 27, 1921 in Gainesville to David S. and Sissy Alice Jenkins Colwell.

On July 27, 2001, she married James Brinlee in Gainesville.

She was a homemaker as well as a salesperson in a farmer’s market.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Frank Weir of Mead, Okla; Diane and David Boling of Austin; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Darlene Brinlee; Greg and Debbie Brinlee of Vider; sons, Mike Brinlee of Gainesville and Mark Brinlee of Whitesboro; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins; one niece and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, a brother and a sister.

Visitation is planned for 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
