ANTHONY “TONY” J. FUHRMANN

Services for Anthony “Tony” J. Fuhrmann, 82, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lindsay with the Rev. Nicholas Fuhrmann, O.S.B. and the Rev. Ron Scheible, O.S.A. officiating. Arrangements are under the direction Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Fuhrmann died April 25, 2008 at Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 31, 1926 in Lindsay to William and Margaret Orth Fuhrmann. He was a farmer and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his brother, the Rev. Nicholas Fuhrmann of Subiaco, Ark.; sisters, Tillie Wachsman of Wichita Falls; Rose Stoffels and Theresa Huchton of Muenster; sister and brother-in-law, Mickey and Benny Haverkamp of Muenster; sister-in-law, Marge Fuhrmann of Lindsay.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by brothers, Henry, Joe and Aloys Fuhrmann and by a sister, Anna Mae Stoffels.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Wachsman, Andy Fuhrmann, Roger Haverkamp, Neil Huchton, Steve and Nick Stoffels, Glenn Fuhrmann and David Stoffels.

The Rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
