Kathleen Clark Rasure

Funeral services for Kathleen Clark Rasure, 84, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Gainesville, TX at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with Robert W. Smith officiating and Jordan Hubbard assisting. She will be buried privately at Fairview Cemetery.



Kathleen was born Wednesday, July 16, 1924 in Sivells Bend, TX to Joseph Mannon Clark and Oshie Russell Clark. She departed this life on December 1, 2008 in Denton, TX.



She and Cleo Malcolm Rasure were united in marriage June 15, 1939 in Marietta, OK. He preceded her in death August 1, 1999.



Survivors include two sons, Malcolm Rasure and wife Marsha of McKinney, TX and Bill Rasure and wife Bonnie of Marietta, OK; three daughters, Patricia Tribble of Denton, TX, Kathy Smith and Husband Bob of Edmond, OK, and Peggy Petty and husband Don of Nacogdoches, TX; one brother Joe V. Clark of Gainesville, TX; grandchildren, Dana Warren, Pamela Marshall, Tammy Wilson, David Tribble, Michelle Lee, Jeff Rasure, Chris Smith, Deborah Hubbard, Jennifer Hoban, Bryan Rasure, Scott Stiles, Sherri Faires, and Jason Stiles; 26 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.



She worked in different companies in Gainesville. In 1986 she retired from Safeway after 17 years of employment.



A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
