Graveside services for Tommie Joyce Huckaby, 67, of Myra are set for Monday, December 1, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Reed Cemetery in Myra with Bro. Bill Black officiating.



Visitation we be held at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 30, 2007.



Mrs. Tommie Joyce Huckaby died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at her home.



She was born on October 30, 1941 in Lewisville, TX to Thomas & Clemie Eva Harper.



Tommie Joyce worked at Weber Aircraft for 12 years and retired from O’Reilly Auto Parts after 7 years.



She enjoyed bowling and racing with her friends; watching her grandkids and great-grandkids play sports and spending as much time as she could with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She also enjoyed spending time with her sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.



She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James and Kim Huckaby of Myra: her grandchildren Kristin and Harold Sims of Seminole, OK, AJ and Adrianne Huckaby of Allen, TX, Megan Huckaby and Adam Bayer of Muenster, and Brandon Huckaby and Melissa Fuhrmann of Myra; 5 great-grandchildren: Tyler and Ella Grace Huckaby and Alexis, Trey, and Hailey Sims.



She is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws Alton and Lucille Huckaby of Church Point, LA; Verda Mae Sieffert, Craig and Becky Miller of Eunice, LA; Carroll Briscoe of Baytown, TX; one brother and sister-in-law Jerry Don and Sue Harper of New Jersey; sisters and brother-in-laws; Sharon and Lonnie Shoemake of Maybank TX and Beverly and Ron Ellis of Gainesville.



She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and friend James D; her father Thomas Harper; her mother and step-father Eva and Jack Lemons; sister-n-laws Betty LeCoq and Kathleen Brisco.
