Memorial Services for Charles David Bone, 59, of Gainesville are set for Monday, October 13, 2008 at 10:00 A.M., at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Miars Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son.



Mr. Bone passed away on October 8, 2008 at Denton Regional Medical Center in Denton, Texas. He was born July 21, 1949 in San Diego, California to parents Clay and Verda Bone. Mr. Bone and Chloris Greenfield Bone were married December 19, 1970 in Sherman, TX. He graduated high school in Aztec, NM and attended Texas Tech in Lubbock, TX. He worked in law enforcement in Love County, OK, Grayson Co, TX, and Cooke Co, TX for the county and the City of Gainesville. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. Most recently, he was a co-owner of Gainesville Seafood and was an over the road trucker.



He is survived by his wife Chloris Bone, mother Verda Bone, children Charlotte, Chantelle, and Jeff Bone, numerous cousins, two nieces, and one nephew. Also, by Mother-in-Law Betty Greenfield, Brother-in-law Terrill Greenfield and wife Patricia.



He is preceded in death by his father Clay Bone, Father-in-law Jack Greenfield, and Brother-in-law Jeff Greenfield.
