Charles David Bone

Services for Charles David Bone, 59, of Gainesville are pending at Geo. J. Carroll & Son.

Mr. Bone passed away on Oct. 8, 2008 at Denton Regional Medical Center in Denton.

He was born July 21, 1949 in San Diego, Calif. to parents Clay and Verda Bone. Mr. Bone and Chloris Greenfield Bone were married Dec. 19, 1970 in Sherman. He graduated high school in Aztec, N.M. and attended Texas Tech in Lubbock. He worked in law enforcement in Love County, Okla., Grayson County, and Cooke County for the county and the city of Gainesville. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. Most recently, he was a co-owner of Gainesville Seafood and was an over the road trucker.

He is survived by his wife, Chloris Bone; mother, Verda Bone; children, Charlotte, Chantelle and Jeff Bone; numerous cousins; two nieces and one nephew. Also, by mother-in-law, Betty Greenfield and brother-in-law, Jeff Greenfield and wife Patricia.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clay Bone; father-in-law, Jack Greenfield and brother-in-law, Jeff Greenfield.
