Richard Allen Seckel

Richard Allen Seckel went home to be with his Lord on June 25, 2009, at his home in Lewisville TX.
He was born to Richard Eugene and Kathryn Goon Seckel, on April 10, 1952, in Marion OH.
He worked in the corrugated box industry for 39 years, served on the Marion city council, and was an endowed member of the Texas Grand Lodge #1195.
He married Jennifer Ruth Chapman, of Gainesville, on October 5, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer. Sister, Marjorie Gregory of Hilliard, OH. Father and Mother In-Law Bob and Barbara Chapman of Gainesville, TX, Sisters in-law and husbands, Tami and Ron Henry of Whitesboro, TX and Traci and Stephen King of Gainesville, TX. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ronald Seckel.
Memorial services will be held on July 18, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville TX at 2pm. The Rev. Luke Smith will officiate along with the Masonic brotherhood. Long time friend, Jim Euson, will deliver the eulogy. A time of visitation will follow the service.
Richard’s ashes will be laid to rest at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens, with his family in Marion, OH.
