GEORGIA McAFEE

Graveside service for Georgia McAfee, 62, of Gainesville are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview with Rev. Josh Carney officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. McAfee died July 14, 2008, at Denton Regional Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 5, 1945, in Gainesville to George and Oneta Moss Blamire. She was a 31-year employee of Weber Aircraft. She enjoyed attending flea markets, working and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, George McAfee of Gainesville; daughter, Sonia Johnson of Gainesville; son, Jimmy Merrifield of Forest City, Ark.; step-children, Kirley, Curtis, Casey and Kenneth McAfee; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters and brothers-in-law, Fredda and Jerry Tatum of Gainesville, and Sharlene and Stan Willis of Gainesville; and brother, George Blamire Jr. of Houston.

No visitation is planned.
