Kevin Skaggs

Services for Kevin Skaggs, 40, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Conducted by family and friends, services will be under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Skaggs died September 13, 2008 at North Texas Medical Center.

He was born on December 22, 1967 in Turlock, Calif. He was married to Lezley Jackson on June 1, 2006 in Gainesville. He was a self-employed painter.

Survivors include his wife, Lezley Skaggs of Gainesville; mother, Shirley Skaggs of Jasper, Ark.; son, Kevin Brent Skaggs of Gainesville; daughter and sons-in-law, Bridgette and Ryan Rudzinski of Collinsville, Step-daughter and son-in-law Amber and Chas Williams of Gainesville; step-daughters, Jessica Bartley of Lewisville and Holly Price of Gainesville; four grandchildren, Keaton Skaggs and Rhett Rudzinski, both of Collinsville and Kailie Williams and Sugar Price, both of Gainesville; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and one sister and brother-in-law, Kristen and Cecil Brown of Gainesville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Skaggs.

Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
