John Beaudin

Services for John Collier Travers Beaudin, 73, of Gainesville are pending at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mr. Beaudin died Feb. 18, 2008, at his residence.

He was born March 14, 1934, in Los Angeles to Joe and Dixie Travers Thrope. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was a painting contractor by profession and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and R.T. Loerwald of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie Beaudin of East, Bryan and Laura Beaudin of Lindsay, Darran and Sherri Beaudin of Muenster and David and Trish Beaudin of Sherman; and five grandchildren.
