Sue Mccutchen

Services for Sue McCutchen, 76, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery Pavillion with the Rev. Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. McCutchen died Sept. 19, 2008 at North Texas Medical Center.

She was born July 18, 1932 in Gurthrie, Okla. to John Henry and Lura McGee Jones.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She formerly operated several retail stores in Gainesville including Peggy Sue’s, Lords and Ladies and We II Fashions as well as the Town and Country Antique Mall.

Survivors include her son, Michael McCutchen of Oklahoma City, Okla and daughter Lou Ann McCutchen of Guthrie, Okla., four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, brothers Billy Ray Jones of Guthrie, Okla. and John Wesley Jones of Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was preceded in death by son, Terry Lee McCutchen, by her husband, Billy Jack McCutchen on Dec. 14, 2003 and by sisters, Betty Lou Jones, Nancy Carol Dubois and Peggy McKenzie.

Vistation is planned for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
